CNN recently totally erased Indigenous peoples’ in reporting racial demographics of presidential results. While we are no stranger to this erasure, one thing Indigenous people are is indomitably resilient. We take our pain and turn it into laughter. There have been so many memes, statuses and tweets shedding light on this issue but also providing some necessary comic relief. The mainstream media may never acknowledge us, but we acknowledge us.
